“I got introduced into the life of crime and gangsterism when I was 12. By the age of 18, I was already carrying around guns… and been arrested a couple of times. It was the last time I’d see life outside for a long time.”

Gangsterism isn’t new to the communities of South Africa. Seeing kids with guns, finding drugs at every corner, and looking behind us is the norm. But, what can be done to changes these mindsets? With thanks to mentors, community leaders, and organisations, this group of people are doing what they can to help their community say no to crime and gangsterism.
