July is the birth month of the late, great Nelson Mandela and as such it has been declared Nelson Mandela Month. Not much needs to be said about the man who transformed our Nation. Madiba has left a legacy of love, forgiveness, strength and inspiration, for South Africans, and indeed the world.
In 1996, Street Talk co-founder Jo Menell directed the Academy Award nominated Mandela – Son of Africa, Father of a Nation. An authorized film biography that traces Mandela’s story from his birth to his status as great South African statesman; featuring interviews with Mandela and his contemporaries and newsreel footage that records the turbulent past of both Mandela and our nation.
