WHAT WE DO

Inspire. Challenge. Debate.

Street Talk TV is the groundbreaking, inspiring, and hard-hitting television series that encourages people in South Africa to debate, discuss and express their views.

Each week we produce a documentary film for broadcast on South African television, reaching over 4.5 million viewers. The Street Talk TV methodology utilizes the dynamic of conversation, facilitating exciting, informative and sometimes controversial dialogue.

We film in the participants’ environments and expose the lived realities, uncensored views, and the trauma and triumphs of ordinary people. We encourage active citizenship, tolerance and social justice.

Street Talk believes that South Africans are more alike than they think, we have committed to breaking down barriers born out of our past and present circumstances.

We invite collaboration with all organizations!
