Right now, I’m at the Cape Town International Airport getting ready to make my way to New York City. This will be my first time abroad and the excitement is overwhelming.

I’ll be attending a prestigious award ceremony where our organisation will be honoured. Rubbing shoulders with the likes of Danny Glover and our very own former first lady, Graça Machel!

Also on the itinerary will be visiting the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty.

Can’t wait to embark on my New York adventure.
