Politics – Leadership

Season 1 Episode 30

Fri, 4 Jul 2014 7:30pm

“…..we’re in government and now we have something that we’ve never had before which is the responsibility of power…..we really have to look at how we’ve done in power because we did really brilliantly to claim the power but what have we done with it that’s the question….it seems like a really critical moment in time. Every liberation movement reaches its sell by date….”

A group of South African professionals of various ages and races speak retrospectively about the good old days of sacrifice, struggle and resistance. They ask hard-hitting questions about South Africa’s transition from oppressive regime to democratic state, challenging the choices and decisions made by former leaders, whilst reflecting on a way forward that is inclusive of all South Africans.
