Season 4 Episode 28

Tue, 4 Mar 2014 12:15pm

“The Interruptors” A half-hour Street Talk special on ” Cease Fire ” a unique and incredibly effective crime prevention project in Hanover Park, the murder capital of the Cape Flats. A bunch of seasoned ex-cons, whose criminal past and jail time buys them a great deal of respect in the hood, set out to interrupt the violence before it happens.

With intimate knowledge of every gang member’s affiliation, residence, quirks and habits, the interruptors move in the moment they hear something is ” going down ” and stop the ” high risk” individual before he can pull the trigger or plunge the knife.
