Award winning activists launch controversial documentary

Despite the cold weather, the who’s who of Cape Town came out to the exclusive screening and launch of Street Talk’s provocative new documentary, ‘Shane’. The event was hosted at the iKhaya Lodge in Gardens on Wednesday, 24 June.

‘Shane’ profiles the life of the brilliantly articulate, funny, sensitive, defiant, complex, courageous, flamboyant, HIV positive, young, gay, mixed race township personality – Shane St Claire. Invited guests were moved by Shane’s courage and openness; overcoming enormous obstacles while living life on his own terms.

This is how it all came together
