“…the magic about these things [is] that somewhere in the audience there’s a person that goes…..’the possibility exists’…it transforms their minds”

“With this….you really reach a community and unify people in a way that politics could never do. If you want to change people and situations and a country, touch people’s hearts, and I think that’s why projects likes this is so important”

Artscape Theatre is Cape Town’s principal centre for the performing arts. Each year, they travel to the rural areas of the Cape bringing art, entertainment and performing. In this episode, Street Talk goes behind the scenes as the Artscape programme coordinators and entertainers prepare to bring the magic of the Arts to the small town of Heidelberg.
